DDS, MSD
Dr. Laurie Estes earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Davis, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She continued her training at the same institution, completing her orthodontic residency and earning both her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry. She currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Berkeley Dental Society and is a member of several professional organizations, including the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, California Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Estes’ interest in orthodontics began with her own childhood treatment, which transformed how she felt about her smile. By age 13, she knew she wanted to become an orthodontist and help others experience that same confidence. Dr. Estes and her husband live in Orinda with their two young children, dog, and cat. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring local parks, camping with her family, baking, snowboarding, and learning to play tennis.
